Kunsthalle Wien

Designed by architect Adolf Krischanitz as a temporary building shaped like a cargo container, the Kunsthalle Wien on Karlsplatz was opened in 1992. The educational staff develop educational programs and offer information services for each exhibition. Depending on the age and main interests of a group, general tours, theme tours, and discussions with experts provide a wide range of possibilities to familiarize with the issues of an exhibition. Side events and cooperation projects with other cultural institutions help to interrelate the exhibition program within the cultural network of the city.
