Facultat de Belles Arts Barcelona
The Faculty of Fine Arts was created when the Escuela Superior de Arte, Industria y Bellas Artes was integrated into the University of Barcelona. Its lecturers were great artists such as Pablo Ruiz Picasso, Julio Gonzalez, Joan Mirò, Miquel Barcelò and Susana Solano.
The Faculty of Fine Arts is based on the knowledge inherited from the early academies and developed through the important contribution of avant-gardes, conceptual art and new technologies. The faculty not only teaches art but also helps greatly students get involved in the field of contemporary art and culture.
